About Hayley Acuña
Meet Your Newborn Care Specialist
More than anything, I want you to feel at ease. When I walk through your door, I hope you can fully exhale, knowing your baby is safe, loved, and in capable hands.
Hi, I'm Hayley Acuña!
You’re bringing home your whole world. I’ll help you care for your baby gently, every step of the way.
I’m a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, and the founder of Sweet Beginnings. Babies have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m the oldest of five girls, and my mom has spent her career working in the birth world, so caring for newborns has always felt like second nature to me.
Today, I support families through those first weeks and months at home, whether that’s overnight, during the day, around the clock, or on the road. Some families want a gentle routine and longer nights. Others simply want someone they trust enough to hand the baby to at 2am. Either way, I’m here for it, and I’ll meet you right where you are.
Trained to respond calmly, quickly, and effectively in a medical emergency.

The Journey to Get Here
training for this since day one!
Growing Up
I grew up as the oldest of 5 girls, with a mom who was a lactation consultant & doula, so birth and postpartum care were just a a part of everyday life.
My First job
I worked at an Elementary before and after-school program. During this time I completed my first postpartum doula training.
First Travel Family
I traveled domestically & internationally with a family and their 10 week old, and that’s when I fell completely in love with the newborn stage.
A short Detour
I spent a few years in the corporate world, but I missed babies way too much... I had to get back to caring for them!
Twins!
I nannied 6 week old twins while completing the 4,000 hours of infant care needed for my CACHE certification.
January 2023
I began providing overnight newborn care, and everything clicked. This was the work I loved and was meant to do.
Today
I founded Sweet Beginnings and today, I support families in Dallas and wherever newborn care takes me.
There’s no one right way to parent, and no one approach that works for every baby.
Trust is everything. Handing over your newborn and going to sleep takes a lot, and I never take that lightly.
When I say I’ll be there, I’m there. I want to make your life easier, not add one more worry.
Every family deserves warm, personal care that never feels judgmental or pressured.
Rest isn’t a luxury in postpartum. It helps you heal, bond, and feel like yourself again.
